#Ad Hairburst For New Mums review
Updated: Aug 13, 2019
There are a lot of things about being pregnant, and beyond, that are very unglamourous. Feeling like a beached whale, having to actually get a small person out of your body, no sleep, no time to yourself. The list goes on....
If you know me, you know I love my hair. I'm always changing the colour and style, adding hair pieces and extensions when the mood suits. So, when I was around two months postpartum and my hair started falling out in clumps, I panicked.
I did a bit of research and found that post partum hair loss is relatively common. I thought I'd skipped that undesirable symptom. But it crept up on me when I thought I was safe. My hair start falling out in big handfuls, more noticeable when I was washing my hair or brushing it, finding the hairbrush full.
So when Hairburst offered to send me some of their vitamins For New Mums in return for a review, I jumped at the chance. It aims to reduce hair breakage, increased strength and elasticity and nourish your hair from within. All sounds good to me! They contain vitamins for hair strengthening, growth, hair health and are 100% safe for pre, during and post pregnancy, including whilst breastfeeding.
I’ve been taking one a day for the past month, leaving them by our coffee machine so I remember (because, let's face it, I'm never going to forget I need coffee!!) and am pleased with the results.
Although it’s only been a short time, I’ve already noticed less hair falling out in the shower and when I brush my hair. I've also had some comments about the length of my hair. This may just be that those people have only seen me in a Mum Bun for months though ha!
Hairburst also have extra B vitamins to help with tiredness, which is a bit of an issue when you have a baby. I think with longer use I’d see even more benefits. The dream would be that I'd not need hair extensions anymore!!!
I'm going to continue to use Hairburst as I've been impressed with them so far and I'll be doing monthly updates on my hair length and condition.
